Family Collaboration, Corona Del Mar Residence

I just completed the Concept Design for this residence in collaboration with my VERY talented brother, Jeff Anderson, Architect. Its so great to be able to complete a project with my brother. Something we have talked about and our parents for years since completing college together at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Jeff had started a 3D model for the project, so I completed the model with the landscape concept that was presented to the client. I look forward to seeing this project built!

Irvine Residence

I completed a landscape renovation in March for a residence in the Turtle Rock Community of Irvine. The residence's courtyard entry is the main outdoor space for the property, as it sits on a hill overlooking Orange County. I designed this project with an Asian Woodland Garden consisting of Magnolias, Japanese Maples, Mondo Grasses, Hosta and Flowering Maple. This project went through HOA submittal and approval processes and is definitely a stand out property in the neighborhood now.

Coastal OC Concept

I am currently working on a concept for a Coastal Orange County residence. It's a renovation of an existing residence that was built in the 1960's. Below are the beginnings of the Sketch Up Model for the main entertaining space and image board.

Landscape REdesign for LEED

This past year we studied an existing building in San Bernardino County for Simpson Strong-Tie to determine how we could achieve LEED Silver, reduce water usage and make a significant change in how the 18-acre property was being maintained. The concept phase also included redesign on the property entrance and employee patio areas. The following graphics were initial concept studies for the proposed changes to the site. The existing property has been purchased and is moving forward with improvements phase by phase.
